Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy sh*t ...what a ride!"

Shading tips,...well, firstly I figure out where the darkest part should be then work outward to the lightest point, coming back to the dark point to make it even darker and work that outward again. I guess I kind of layer it, my shadows consist of heaps of layers. when I look at a shadow I look deep into it to see how many different shades there are, I like to make the shadows as deep as I can, it gives, I guess more depth. Don't know if I explained that right, but next time I draw I will study how I do it properly and try and explain it better to you. But I feel it essence good shading starts by knowing where all your high lights, shadows and all the shades in between must fall. ARGH I don't think I explained it right, but I will try again, soon. Need to think about it for a bit to see how I can word it better.
